Dyches - Weigand

Crystal Gabrielle Dyches and Gregory Miles Weigand of Lexington, S.C., were united in marriage on June 4, 2005, at the seashore of Hilton Head, S.C.

Fran Velhroa officiated the ceremony. A reception followed at the Crowne Plaza Resort.

The bride is the daughter of Roger Dyches of Lexington, S.C., and Mr. and Mrs. Edward Irwin of Columbia, S.C. Her paternal grandmother is Betty Dyches Driggers of Lexington. The late Mr. Jerry Dyches and the late Mr. David Driggers, both of Columbia, were her paternal grandfathers.

The bride's maternal grandparents are Mr. and Mrs. Hermann Goehring of Neeses, S.C., and the late Mr. Marvin Arrants of Columbia.

His paternal grandparents are Sarah Weigand and the late Mr. Carl Weigand of Pittsburgh. The late Mr. and Mrs. Milo Slemenda, also of Pittsburgh, were his maternal grandparents.

The groom is employed by Closetmaid as the regional sales representative.

The bride was given in marriage by "Poppa," Hermann Goehring of Neeses. The bridesmaids were "Katie" Rawl, sister of the bride, of Charleston; Lori Weigand, sister of the groom, of Pittsburgh; Lisa Cherry of Camden, S.C.; and Audrey McCarson of Chapin, S.C.

Bryson Taylor Collins, age 5, son of the bride, was the ring bearer.

The groomsmen were Steve Holien of Columbia; Forrest Dyches, brother of the bride, of Columbia; Pat Burns of Pittsburgh; and George Beleznik of Pittsburgh.

The bride is employed by Sysco of Columbia as a sales representative.

The groom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Edward Weigand of Pittsburgh and HIlton Head, respectively.

The couple planned a trip to Aruba for their honeymoon. They will live in Lexington.
