Dr. James Reber

Dr. James Reber, 84, formerly of Whitehall, died Saturday, May 3, 2008.
He was the husband of 62 happy years to Marilyn Reber; father of Richard James (Kit) and David; son of the late Alvin and Mary Reber; brother of John and the late Patricia Bashline.
He was a U.S. Navy Veteran.
He was an accomplished pilot and avid sports fan.

Margaret Detig
Married 56 years
Margaret (Quinn) Detig, 77, died April 30, 2008.
She will be reunited with her late husband Joseph, who she had been happily married to for more than 56 years before his passing last year.
She was the sister of Ann Malloy, Arthur Quinn and the late Elizabeth Hartman; sister-in-law of Lois Quinn, Lee Hartman and Robert Detig; aunt of Christine (Anthony) DiNizo, Lauren Malloy, Shelly (Kevin) Cox and Kerra Penn.
She also is survived by nieces, nephews, grandnieces and nephews and her lifelong friends, especially Ruth Ann.

Delores Eberhart
Loved dancing
Delores "Dolly" Eberhart of Balwin Borough, formerly of Whitehall, died April 30, 2008, at home.
Her love of dancing led to a career teaching at Fred Astair and Arthur Murray for 14 years. Later she was employed by Computer Systems Institute and retired in 1995 from Pittsburgh Beauty Academy.
She is survived by her companion Don Rauch; her sister Willa Mae Schafer; daughter Marilyn Evans; son Mark Eberhart; grandson Allan Lenard; great-granddaughter Riley Lenard; and numerous nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to the American Lung Association, 11676 Perry Highway, Pittsburgh, PA 15090.

Margaret Barker, 83, of Whitehall, died Thursday, April 24, 2008.
She was the wife of the late Kenneth Barker; mother of Kenneth Barker of San Diego and Susan (Tom) Parsons of Baldwin; sister of Joseph Sujansky, Frank (Luti) Sujansky and the late Vincent Sujansky, Frances Wassel, Charles Sujansky, Mildred Campbell, Mary Woods Luvara, Anne Young and William Sujansky.

John McGuirk, 47, of Jefferson Hills, died May 4, 2008.
He was the father of Brianne and Brad; brother of David, Gary, Kathleen and Charlene; uncle of Gary, Matt, Elizabeth, David, Michael, Christine, Lindsay, Lauren, Dan, Jeffrey and Nicole; formerly married to Lynda McGuirk; son of the late Francis and Patricia.
Internment is in Jefferson Memorial Park.

She was the wife of the late Norman Sanker; mother of Sally Lange, Eileen Kaminsky, Norman Sanker and the late Patricia Gloeckl; mother-in-law of William Lange, James Kaminsky, Jennifer Sanker and Joseph Gloeckl; sister of Morris, Louis and Joseph Nagle; special friend of Frank Urban. Also survived by 12 grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.

He was the husband of 51 years to the late Charlotte Ann (Waters); father of Stan (Patty), Stacie (Ron) Neumeyer, Stephen (Chrissy), Marty (Tammy), Matthew (Laura), and Melissa (Matt) Imling; son of the late Stanley and Laura Witt; brother of Lois Witt and Ruth (Walter) Lapinski; grandfather of 20 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
