Michael Ralph Pacella
Baldwin Resident

Michael Ralph Pacella, 77, passed away peacefully after a brave fight with an extended illness on Friday, March 14, 2008. The Baldwin resident was born on July 5, 1930, the son of the late Nicola and Rosa (Mancini) Pacella, he served in the Korean War as an Air Force sergeant. In 1955, he married Clelia Passero and had four children: Rosemary (Mark) Barber, of Baldwin Township, Teresa (Patrick) Flaherty of Allison Park, Joseph Pacella of Baldwin and Lisa Pacella, who died tragically died in 1989. He was the beloved grandfather to Jessica Rose Hoffman, Michael Joseph and Anthony Paul Pacella, Leah Teresa and Sean Patrick Flaherty. He is also survived by his brother John Pacella and was preceded in death by brothers Ralph and Pasquale Pacella and sisters Angela Federico and Teresa Klersey.

Michael was a carpenter and in his retirement was an avid gardener and a Steelers fan. He enjoyed cooking for his family and was very proud of his Italian heritage. He was much loved and will be missed by many nieces, nephews, family and friends. Arrangements were handled by Jefferson Memorial Funeral Home, Inc., 301 Curry Hollow Road, Pleasant Hills. Donna L. Kowalewski
Whitehall resident

Donna L. Kowalewski, age 59, died on Monday, March 10, 2008. The Whitehall resident was the mother of Martin S. Kowalewski, Jr. of Wexford; the sister of Carol (Warren) Kimmel of Lancaster, Paul (Mary) Metzinger of Ft. Washington, Wayne (Jeannie) Metzinger of Dresher, Pa.; Lynn (Jeff) Fasick of King of Prussia; daughter of Henry Metzinger, Dresher, Pa. She is also survived by her nieces, nephews and friends, Dottie Ingersoll and Ann Morrison. Arrangements were handled by John F. Slater Funeral Home, Inc., 4201 Brownsville Rd., Brentwood 15227. Nancy B. (Brinkley) Ney
Jefferson Hills resident

Nancy B. (Brinkley) Ney, 82, died on Saturday, March 15, 2008. Ney, of Jefferson Hills, was the beloved wife of Louis F. Ney. Nancy was a loving sister, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and aunt. She is also survived by her sisters-in-law, Marie Pukansky and Dorothy Ney and a brother-in-law, Ray Ney. Sandra L. Dees
Baldwin borough resident

Sandra L. Dees died on Wednesday, March 12, 2008. The Baldwin borough resident was the beloved wife of William E. Dees for 47 years; the loving mother of Debbie (Lenny Lucas) Shipley and Bill (Rhonda) Dees; the grandmother of Billy, Jason, Matt and Logan Dees and Bryan Shipley; the daughter of the late Joseph and Rose Barone; the sister of Joe Barone and Jim (Esther) Barone; and sister-in-law of Ruth Barone.She is also survived by many loving nieces and nephews.

Mary C. Barenbregge
Grandmother of 14

Mary C. Barenbregge, 89, and formerly of Baldwin Boro, died on Tuesday, March 11, 2008. She was the beloved wife of the late Paul V. Barenbregge; loving mother of Margaret "Peggy" (Patrick) Cummings, Joan Barenbregge, Mary Lynn (Thomas) Korenich, and Marcia (Edward) Lynch; dear grandmother of 14; and predeceased by brothers George and Carl Jansen.

H. Keith Stollar
former Westinghouse executive

H. Keith Stollar, 71, died on Friday, March 14, 2008, surrounded by his loving . Stoller was a Pleasant Hills resident, and formerly lived in New Kensington. He was the beloved husband for 50 years of Mary Ann (Walkiewicz) Stollar; loving father of Karen, Susan and Diane (Larry) McGowan; devoted grandfather of Michael, Conner and Sara; brother of Gloria Lamont; son of the late Harland M. and Anne (Stewart) Stollar.

Keith was an executive with Westinghouse for 38 years and coordinator of Westinghouse retiree events, the past president of the Pleasant Hills Lions Club and a Pleasant Hills Tax Collector for one term.

Keith was actively involved with coordinating Ken High class reunions, most notably, being the emcee at the 2000 reunion. Keith will be dearly missed and lovingly remembered.
