Is anybody else in Brentwood tired of Flo the Crossing Guard? She can usually be found yelling at someone at the corner of Elroy and Francis in Brentwood? Today she sits at Brentwood Pool checking pool passes. Not only does she yell before thinking (many times at unknowing elementary school kids or unaware grandparents picking up their grandkids from school), she insults teenagers with facial deformities! My 14-year-old niece, who has Opitz G syndrome, was with me today at Brentwood Pool. Flo yelled to me, "hey, you have to pay for her!" I said, ok but I thought I did....she said "she is an adult." (mind you Flo insisted my neice was an adult - not questioned). I said, "no, she is a teenager." She just gawked at me and I shooed my neice into the pool area. After we were done swimming, Flo and other people at the pool pointed and stared at us as we were leaving!!! I can't believe anyone would behave that way! Well, yes I can - this is Brentwood.
