Does anyone know if merging Brentwood into Baldwin schools is going to be brought up again? Last year I was dead set against it, but after realizing that Brentwood has NO elementary or middle school sports teams I have flipped sides on the issue. Also if you child is in need of any special services Baldwin is much better at that. Just in the past few years someone sued Brentwood for not having the correct programs for special needs kids and WON. From what I see there are a few more cases that could eventually happen.

Also at the HS level Brentwood is very limited in sports compared to Baldwin. So if Balwin's size allows them to have more sports you know that they also have better equipped schools. Baldwin is already building more school than they have kids for, we may as well get in on it. As far as taxes will go we pay high taxes anyway, I doubt they will go up very much.

I know sports is a BAD reason to choose a school, but think about it in relation to how much more must be offered academically too.
