Close up, a new picture in the entryway of Bethel Park's municipal building is a composite of tiny photographs of soldiers, flags, helicopters, Jeeps, other military scenes, fields, beaches and sunsets.
Stand back 10 feet, and it becomes a U.S. flag that appears to wave in a breeze.
Bethel Park South Girl Scouts received the picture -- with its small, brass plaque reading "In appreciation for your dedication and support to the men and women of the Army National Guard who serve to defend freedom" -- as a token of goodwill from National Guard members who enjoyed cookies the girls sent overseas.
