July 13: Kent E. Vrana, PhD. Elliot S. Vessel Professor and Chair of Pharmacology in the College of Medicine, Penn State University is a brain biochemist and stem-cell expert. His special interests and his research include studies of stem cell development and characteristics and of the biochemistry of substance abuse and addiction.
