Brentwood's Annual Street Fair and Battle of the Barrel

Brentwood's annual 4th of July celebration is once again kicking off with the "2008 July 3rd Street Fair" and "Battle of the Barrel."
Local businesses will be treating Brentwood residents with live music, food, giveaways, and fun for the kids on the stretch of Brownsville Road from the Volunteer Fire Department to St. Sylvester's Church. Anchoring the celebration is the "Battle of the Barrel" where the hometown fire department entertains with their fire hose skills as they battle for bragging rights with other local companies.
Schedule of events:
BlueStar Drum & Bugle Corps: 5 p.m., Brentwood Library
Music by "11:01": 6 p.m-8 p.m., Brentwood Presbyterian Church
The Chiappette Special: 6 p.m.-8 p.m., Brentwood Library
Battle of the Barrel: 6 p.m.-8 p.m.
Plus, food, face painting, and balloon animals.
