Other judges might have come down hard on A.J. Neill and his school buddies when they got caught drinking and driving through a stop sign.
Instead, Upper St. Clair District Judge Sally Ann Edkins spent time talking to the youths and sent them out to pick up garbage, recalled Neill, now 39.
