UNDER PRESSURE

I have recently been asked to remove my link, or I would have my account deleted. I am glad that this site has so much going for it, that it doesn't need more readers. Obviously, my account will be deleted after this mesage, but I wanted you all to see what I was told. Here is the e-mail I got after explaining to them that I would be more than happy to remove the link if asked, and would even "tread lightly" as I was warned that I should do. These rules apparently don't apply to posts with slanderous lies, as you see all over this site. Sorry I have to leave, but your south hills apparently can't take the pressure of a few politicians that cry. Rest assured, I will be back, and stronger than ever. E-mail accounts are a dime a dozen, and I can do this all day long. Here is the e-mail:

Please remove the link to the Brentwood site from the Mayor_McCheese profile.

This is from our terms of service:

"Proper behavior will help make YourSouthHills.com more successful and useful for its members. Therefore, you agree not to post, e-mail or otherwise make available through the site Content:

* that purports to be from any person or entity, including but not limited to a Provider employee, or falsely states or otherwise misrepresents your affiliation with a person or entity;
* that includes personal or identifying information about another person without that person's explicit consent;
* that is false, deceptive, misleading, deceitful, mis-informative, or constitutes "bait and switch"; "

The link violates these terms. If you don't remove the link, we'll have no choice but to delete your account.

The only link I ever saw was the one on your Member Profile that directs you to a First Amendment website. That can't possibly be against this site's Terms Of Service. Is it because people have complained that you had the audacity to refer to yourself as McMayor? Do they actually think that the photo you ran looks like the Mayor of Brentwood? Maybe it is a McDonalds infringement. Maybe they complained. Keep the faith McCheese.

Catalyst,
My old link was to a certain Mayor's page. I thought it would be a nice way for everybody to see what he had to say, I guess I was wrong. Maybe I will have to go with you and Donkey Slayer to get some tatoos. I can get a cheeseburger on my stomach. After a few more years, it will be supersized. Then I can make it dance. Should be fun. I know McDonald's didn't complain, they have better things to do with their time than harass web sites to remove links. Wish other people had more important things to do.

I would gladly pay you Tuesday, for a hamburger today.

No need to withhold my name ... it's Mark Whittaker. My e-mail is mwhittaker@tribweb.com. The link to the First Amendment Center is great! Thanks for complying with our rules.

McCheese,
When we go get the ink work done maybe you should get the first Amendment on your back along with the super size Cheeseburger on the chest. It's a shame that grimmace has no sense of humor. McDonalds has probably already been called on the grimmace hot line from behind the poker machine to inform them to take a look at the website. Watch for this action next.
