Total Learning Centers named Dr. John Kuntz, coordinator of its South Hills location in Brentwood. Kuntz worked for 20 years as an elementary school teacher at local schools and was a principal for 10 years in various districts. He also served as chief administrative officer at a charter school in Erie and as the state curriculum coordinator for the Department of Corrections. Kuntz earned his doctorate from the University of Pittsburgh. He also served as a supervisor for student teachers at Slippery Rock. Total Learning Centers now has four locations in Wexford, Murrysville, Fox Chapel and Brentwood. Dr. Patricia Sheahan, who was the previous South Hills Total Learning Centers coordinator, will become the Murrysville Total Learning Centers coordinator where she has a long history of community service.
