Pleasant Hills fires police chief

Pleasant Hills council fired police Chief Floyd Nevling during a special meeting Monday night that attracted about 200 people supporting the chief.
The vote was unanimous.
Nevling, 72, had been suspended with pay since June 18. He had been police chief since 1992, and his base salary was $88,024.

He seemed like a real good chief to me and he was in tune with what is going on in his community. It's pretty sad to see him go. I am curious to hear what the bs charges are that lead to his firing.
