Gun threat results in searches of TJ students
Students at Thomas Jefferson High School will be subjected to searches when they enter school today because of a threat that a gun would be brought to school.
Mt. Lebanon oral surgeon accused of sexually assaulting 4 patients
An oral surgeon from Mt. Lebanon has been charged with sexually assaulting four female patients -- including at least one teen -- during surgical procedures at his offices in Scott and Robinson. Allegheny County Police issued a warrant Wednesday for Robert John Boyda Jr., 42, charging him with involuntary deviate sexual intercourse, sexual assault, indecent assault, indecent exposure and corruption of minors for incidents the four women said occurred at his offices on Cochran Road and Steubenville Pike.
