Earlier this week, Baldwin Borough Council voted to start negotiating with the Baldwin-Whitehall School District to move tax collector Gail Dobson Mikush's office to the Wallace building. The South Hills Record has more on this decision, along with other news from this meeting.

What do you think about the decision to move the tax collector's office? Post a comment below to share your opinion.

Well this is a no-brainer. The tax office has been in the Borough Building for a very long time, maybe since its inception. The comment made by one of the councilmembers hit the nail squarely on the head. This is another bad example of small town revenge seeking politics. Go ahead Baldwin, the ink dried on Tim Kreger's lawsuit, time to begin another. Then again, soon the news will be out regarding how your forcing another administrative employee to retire because why..... Shes just too old !!!! At least they cant say your prejudice to any certain group, you seem to be covering them all.... handicapped, women, elderly, wrong political party.

I read your blog over and over again.
Just what are you trying to say?

Emotional outbursts and acting like a spoiled child at council meetings is no way to prove that your opinion is correct.

I welcome an intelligent person to come forth and provide council with a financial reason why we should keep the Tax Collectors office at the Baldwin Borough Building.

Hello -- Hello -- is anybody out there ??????

Because it is not needed! There are many alteratives to provide "space" at the boro building. It is going to cost the Citizens money. Why pay rent for a space you already have??
