Jefferson Hills Toy Drive
Tags:
Mayor Michael and Police Chief Martin Reagan are conducting a Toy Drive. Anyone interested in donating a toy may drop it off at the Police Department, 925 Old Clairton Road — before December 15th. Both the Mayor and Chief will personally distribute the toys to those in need. No other individuals will be involved in the distribution process, and those receiving the gifts will remain anonymous for obvious reasons.
Also, should anyone know of a family that could use a little help this Christmas, the Mayor may be contacted on his personal “hot line” at (412) 653-0979, in complete confidence.
One final note of great importance; please donate only unwrapped new toys in their sealed containers, and make every attempt to insure that any toy purchased for any child is not on the recall list and would not be harmful in anyway. If you have Internet access, a list is available at, the US Consumer Product Safety Commission. http://www.cpsc.gov/cpscpub/prerel/category/toy.html
Let’s help put a smile on a child’s face this Christmas !
