I hope you folks are proud of yourselves. You kissed-up to Mary Dytko, acting like puppets and doing everything she said. You had to know about her background and nasty habits and if you had any guts, you should have stood-up to her and helped to straighten-up the borough business. Jay, you acted like a stooge to her at meetings and made a complete fool of yourself. You should think about stepping-down from council and letting someone who cares take over.
The people of Brentwood have the right to speak at meetings and that ruling should be changed at the very next meeting.

Did you post this during your extended lunch break?
Should Lieb step down for failing to complete an extensive criminal history and polygraph of Dytko? How about for paying his taxes and being a model citizen of our community for 25 + years. Should he step down for failing to announce and address (Marios two DUI a week a part)? prior to our nieve residents voting because the Mayor endorsed them? How about the Mayors $25,000 federal tax lien that had to be filed to compel him to pay his taxes? Come on tell us, please, do give us some more reasons.
Better check the public records. Leib is no "model citizen". He's part of the fiasco. District Attorney Steve Zapalla, WELCOME to Brentwood. Please do a thorough investigation into the goings-on in this borough.
What ever happened to personal integrity?
If you are looking at the same public records that I am; it says that he had those DUI's OVER 20 YEARS AGO! Not like the Vice President who was recently caught with a DUI while a member of Council. I'm not saying a DUI is okay; it's not; but, that was 20 years ago. Apparently, if he is getting involved in his community, shows signs of maturity and growth. Everyone has a past and 20 years ago is definately past not present or recent.

Did you also read that he has an alias? Why my friend would someone need an alias? If you are intelligent and I think you are, this should put up a big RED flag. Just what we need on council, another thug.

Yeah, I saw that. I am intelligent and if you go thru the Ancestry web site you can also find out that apparently his family (if it is his ) migrated here and that was a name that was brought over. Also, if you noticed, there is another Mario Richards that is coming up on his background check. That could be the other Mario's alias. According to Allegheny documents there are over 50 Mario Richards that live in just Allegheny county. Do you know of anyone else that may hold your same name? I have had a problem with identity theft. I also just encountered a person while being attended to for a medical condition with the same name as my own---even the middle initial. She was my nurse. I do not believe a lot of what I see on documents until you even take it a step further and investigate it. You'll find that there are other possible answers.
I've been watching the blogs since Ms Dytko embarassed this Borough with her credit card fraud. I think you, (Brentwood at Heart) are the first person to address the "stepping-down" of Mr Lieb. All those involved should resign because they broke the trust the residents placed in them to administrate the business of Brentwood. Especially the council members that signed the checks to approve the out right theft and mishandling of our tax dollars. Right now we have three council members that were appointed because Ms Dytko ran off those elected by us because they would not go along with her and Lieb's BS. Depending on the procedure to replace our most noteworthy embarassment, (Dytko) the residents of Brentwood will have a majority of Council members (4) that will be appointed by Dytko and/or her entourage. (Lieb, Synborski, Shade) That would be outrageous at best. Majority of Council Appointed!
Will we ever get back on track?
They should all resign, en-masse. I don't have any opinion of Mr. Lieb.
Synborski is a known lier and Shade should definitely go. These two senior members of council should have known better. If they didn't, that just proves their incompetence.
Why is everyone jumping the gun once again? Let the DA do his job, I am sure he will do a thorough investigation into what is going on inside our borough building, let's all just wait and see what happens next.
By the way, if I am not mistaking Mr. Lieb has not been Vice President of council for very long. Only since Ed Haney resigned.

Your apparent need to be told be the DA down the road right from wrong is pathetic. Common sense dictates that she used a credit card that was NOT hers for her personal purchases. She admitted to this. This is WRONG.
Please, while you are busy typing all your wonderful current council mantras please google a little something called the 10 Commandments. This could be a helpful moral compass for you since you cannot take a step on your own in life and make a stand without wondering about how being an upright citizen would conflict with your chronic adoration of the remaining (and I feel tainted) council members.

Why must one choose a camp? Which camp are you in? You must be the insider if you are in a camp. You are so lucky. My camp is my home. Which is what these people tax to pay for these things. I am just a concerned citizen so I do not have to choose a camp.
Let's wait and see who else used that card for personal purchases. Whether they paid them back or not it is still WRONG and they should STEP DOWN AS WELL. Dytko should STEP DOWN. She and all who used that card for personal use. You must be NAIVE to think that she was the only one to use that Sam's card for personal purchases. I am not that NAIVE.

Gee maybe the Treasurer should get the AX as well. Maybe the Mayor should have looked closer. Lets have him step down. Oh do not forget the Chief of Police, Head of Public Works, Borough Secretary. I am amazed at your constant waffling. Unfortunately, you did not take your own advice and do background checks on council members. Oh, that's right, you only wanted to scrutinize the newly elected members. Your crystal ball expected January to be the month that this borough would go to hell. Wrong again.

Call me names all you want. Does that get you what you want in life as well. I would guess not. You still did not say what camp you are in. Don't like it when someone presses you for answers? If you want them all to resign why do you stop at the council? Like I said on my last comment, call for the heads of the mayor, borough secretary, treasurer, and department heads. In your opinion, everyone should have known so do not pick and choose who is right or wrong throw them all out. I also never said to not do background checks on the rest of the members of council. I have done them. Mr. Lieb is the only one that comes up with anything and he has been open with the public on that issue. If you know something about the others on council, please let us know oh great all seeing Sleepless!! I did my homework lets see what you can come up with. Probably just more names to call me.

Your house probably would have sold by now if you were as committed to presenting it and boxing up your belongings (including your computer) as you were to spinning info here.
In the rare case that you might actually be moving, don't forget to pack up your pot and stirring stick for the lucky new community your going to set up your camp in.

I know I should have just called you a name and showed everyone that I am tough like you. You are so superior to all that Blog on this site. Evidently you cannot respond to the questions I asked. Instead you just prove my point by resorting to name calling. This is supposed to be a give and take forum. You just want to bully your way around and not to answer any questions. I answered your questions to me but I guess you need to check with the head of your camp before you respond. I would like to know what info is Spin as you say. You must have an awful lot of time on your hands to be re-reading blogs and quoting dates. Why don't you run for council. Seems to me that you must be a friend of the mayor.
Maybe what I should do is start riding around speeding down the streets-get a few tickets, maybe a DUI, not pay my taxes for a few years, then I will run for council or mayor. Seems I have a better chance of fitting in and getting elected. You'll vote for me right brainless?

Did you attend the Agenda Meeting last week? People were allowed to speak for an hour and a half. The issue with Ms. Dytko is a legitemate issue to bring up even if it is not on the agenda because it deals with the finance of the borough, which is on the agenda. As long as what you have to say deals with issues that affect day to day operations, there should not be a problem. If you are denied at that point, you can scream that your Freedom of Speech is being violated.
The thing that bothers me is that the consituents are upset by this new policy and the council should listen to their constituents. I feel that the council should consider bringing back comments but with a time limit. As much as I enjoyed the Jerry Springer like atmosphere in the past, it was getting out of hand. Maybe with time limits the person would get to their point and leave out all of the BS. Also, one should only be able to go to the podium once.
Just a thought!!!
I would'nt loose to much sleep over this. Things are corrupt all over the place. Brentwood is not the only borough with problems. Unfortunately, every borough has turmoil.
