Donald Gorman came to a workplace that appreciated him, he said, and never wanted to leave.

On Sept. 19, 1959, Gorman started working at what is now known as Life'sWork of Western PA. He arrived at the vocational training school for the disabled as a 17-year-old with cerebral palsy, the Pittsburgh Trib reports.
