This past friday the local sports scene lost a true legend with the death of "Bap" Manzini. Those people who are longtime residents and fans of the "Jaguar Nation" will recall that it was "Bap" who started the Winning Tradition of Jaguar Football back in 1965. When he retired as Head Coach in 1980 after winning the WPIAL AAA title, he had accumulated 114 victories at TJ and 203 total. He created a lasting legacy that has continued to this day under Coach Cherpak and his long time assistants. He was truly from the "old school" and will be missed.
