Brentwood officials, the soccer association, the Baldwin High School band, Brentwood Athletic Association, the Brentwood Business Owners Association and others are working together to seek state money for the renovation of the 75-year-old Brentwood stadium.
The renovations needed could cost $5 million, council President Mary Dytko said.
The Pittsburgh Trib has more.

Why does Baldwin High School Band want to help find money for Brentwood Stadium renovations??
Would be nice if all of those organizations could get together and find A way to lower taxes and keep people in Brentwood instead of paying for the schools problem,(which, by the way, has money falling out of its a**!)
The school rents the stadium from the borough, the school does not own the stadium. Therefor, it would not be the schools problem to fix but the boroughs problem to fix. If people would stay off the field when they are asked to it wouldn't be in the shape it is. The public works department works their butt off trying to keep up with all the work but it is a lost cause when people don't stay off of it!
Then let the school buy it and relieve the boro of the responsibility for it.
