Attorney takes Devine case for free

Washington County attorney Noah Geary said he was so disturbed to hear about the arrest of 75-year-old Marilyn Devine, of Baldwin Borough, that he took her case for free.
Geary says there are extenuating circumstances that might have led Devine to hold up the National City Bank in West Mifflin on Monday, the Pittsburgh Trib reports. Devine waived her right to a preliminary hearing today.

This morning, bond for Marilyn Devine was reduced from $100,000 straight cash to $50,000 with the ability to use property as collateral, the Post-Gazette reports.
